I’ve customised design systems like Chakra and Figma Nucleus—selecting frameworks that fit the tech stack to speed up development and ensure scalability. I’ve also built systems from the ground up, creating core components like calendars and form patterns. Working closely with front-end engineers, I partnered with them as they integrated components into Storybook to improve documentation and consistency. I also ran workshops and cross-functional sessions to keep the entire company creatively aligned and invested in the design system’s evolution.

GOVERNANCE
Building and Governing a Unified Design Ecosystem
I established clear governance for the design system, ensuring it stayed scalable, relevant, and widely adopted. I led bi-weekly ceremonies with front-end engineers, product owners, marketing, and communications teams to review updates, align priorities, and discuss improvements. Through ongoing “ways of working” workshops, I created a shared language and process—helping teams contribute confidently, maintain quality, and evolve the system together.
